I'd love if "just make a PVE server" was an option but it isn't.

There's plenty of newbie traps I've seen people post that involved zero PVP whatsoever and still killed people outright.

What if you patched those? There's dozens of non-PVP mechanics that people can use to grief you.

What if you patched those? All development time would go towards a subset of people who would get bored of the game in 1 world and provide no real incentive to the devs to work on the game because this isn't the game THEY want to work on.

The game is built from the ground up for you to run out there and punch a dumbass in the face for building a palisade on your land, so it would have to be torn apart just to satisfy a PVE environment.

If you make privately owned servers, there'd be like 50 people on the main server and everybody else on private servers hacking in custom hats to avoid purchasing and the game would die.

Idk, maybe one province with pvp disabled(cant attack players unless you had combat relation before you entered it) wouldnt be so bad, it should have hard ql limit on everything, no rare resources, significantly increased claim upkeep and probably would be griefed to shit,we could have markets, player events, etc. there, and all those helpless shitters crying about muh pvp could live there

remove pvp from world 16.1 and then re-add it serverwide the second someone purchases Rage

You guys sure that rather the disliking of PvP in general, you actually dislike the fact player versus player fucking sucks on this game? Not only stats matter way too much, the combat mechanics are obtuse and large scale battles often comes down to the side that has the least client crashes wins.
