I don't know Pills, but I feel leery about people who ask to be mod. Maybe it's just paranoia, but people here are willing to activate alts they created from over 10 years ago, and pretend they are ordinary players.

I didn't either until a couple of worlds ago, I've played every world since my registration date in some capacity, and, out of the many people I've met, he's one person out of a small few that I would consider to be at the right level of maturity mixed with the right level of not-entirely-jaded human that has the capacity to moderate impartially.
I wouldn't dream of wanting the job personally, so someone who is willing to do so and actively puts themselves forward for it doesn't change my opinion of them, sometimes people just want to improve things. Being a moderator on a forum is hardly shooting for the stars when it comes to being power-hungry in my eyes.

Just out of curiosity, what happened to the old mods like potjeh? Did they also get nonindy'd or did they resign? I would like to see a return of those mods if possible. At the very least we know they won't abuse their powers.

Give mod to a bunch of dudes like Potjeh who barely post and are barely invested, at least the sum of each of them occasionally browsing would clean out the worst posts

Yeah Oddity is a super chill guy that's actually invested in the game and not just forum PvP as a lot of other ppl are (Im looking at you). He is actually making his own version of legacy and i think he is the owner of the Official Legacy Discord?

I nominate Delamore. He has a public history of being critical of me, which should satisfy the skeptics. That said, I've never seen anything but well reasoned opinions and general skepticism from him. I don't mind someone who has a history of being adverse to me personally. This isn't about faction favoritism, it's about having a relatively clean forum again.

I'm not in a faction and I just don't like you, but you think I'm part of a conspiracy 50-alt-account secret discord enterprise trying to manipulate an old man into making you upset.

How do we determine who is and isn't part of a faction, and why would anybody ever believe your take on who you think is or isn't, and whether or not you have connections with them?


I don't get why you guys are so paranoid. If a newly appointed mod turns out to be a deepstate snail agent, won't they just get demodded even quicker that noidy?

How much damage do you think somebody can do? And don't think you it can be undone by the devs?

We all know you and your crew will be taking shifts watching the forum to wait for a slip up.

I am personally only +1 oddity because I know the dude has been around for almost 15 years, so he must care about the community to some degree because despite being mostly quiet he is mildly active now and again.

Ardennes is also super neutral and I don't think he is in any faction I know of. Never heard the dude even mention pvp or ingame politics in my life, and clearly he cares about the community because he runs a community discord and doesn't allow crazy drama shit like we see on this forum.
