There's a lot of improvements that could be made to siege, IMO, but retards who've never even tried it acting like authorities is not productive. It's just some annoying shit somebody will siege you over

and I personally spent probably half a day wiping all of your stuff after my village sieged you because I also find your posts annoying

What are you talking about? You post on the forums. People are spiteful and will attack you even over things that happen outside of the game proper. I think it's dumb too, but you can mostly opt-out of this by using a different in-game name and not linking your in-game identity to your forum/Discord/whatever identity.

But its true.
Siege should not work like it currently does, that is, if you spend X amount of effort you are guaranteed victory. This means that few individuals with both flexible schedule and lack of empathy will be dominating.
"b-but siege take lot of effort" no hell it doesnt. You know what takes a lot of effort? A village, to build village you may play with 4 guys for 3 months 4-8 hours every day on average, and all it takes to ruin it is one miserable loser in his parents cellar to waste 3 days of his very precious time? Its bullshit.
I cannot understand why devs don't do anything, do they really believe what some people say or maybe some of my earlier claims really are true.

It's probably because the current system is largely fine, the system favors defenders (which has been explained numerous times and people just want to use their feelings vs facts), and the only people screaming for massive overhauls are trolls or retards.

Attackers get a lot of choice as well. The start time of a siege is set by the attackers, who can begin at a time that works best for them and their group. Attackers can also let rams sit for additional hours, leaving the defendings standing around waiting to see what happens next (since the decay time on siege equipment is hardly noticeable). Delaying siege advances until the defenders have to go to work/sleep is a pretty common tactic.

Attackers have the element of surprise most of the time, specially this late into a world. They can place a ram and multiple catapults down right up against a person's wall whenever they feel like it and then the defender has less than 2 hours to respond before the catas harden, making counter siege a lot harder to set up.

Also as towers go down they leave rubble which removes the ability to build a new tower nearby for 24h. Siege equipment like catapults can be freely built and spammed for eternity, and if they are destroyed, they can be rebuilt immediately. META is still to just place a ram, hope the defenders spam towers early on, wait for them to decay, and then build a new ram to begin the real siege attempt.

Siege is just fucked, lol. It is a massive time sink for both sides and none of it is overly enjoyable. There are long periods of time between things actually happening but you can't really sit back and chill during that time either.
