Tbh lowkey +1, we won't be using those probably (maybe some but it's kinda w/e), but it just seems like a step in a bad direction. Let's face it, hnh is b2p+p2p, without premium+verification (admitedly those are quite cheap and you can buy tokens ingame) you are significantly worse off, back in legacy those two weren't a thing. Now we have those + hats + sketchbooks, and that was fine (they gotta make some money, this is not a charity) as long as they were just for looks, but now, allowing them to give a mechanical advantage does seem like a step in a wrong direction.
If sketchbook can give you extra portable space, what about sketchbooks on backpacks to increase their capacity, or a hat that gives you an extra row? Those don't seem so far fetched now.

Drying frames should be liftable, I have been mad about this for seven years.

Reeally hope any damage outside of combat was taken into account as well.
Like, are cave-ins now instagib? And is drowning instant again just like in the first worlds?
Will wounds generally scale the same way, considering now we have only 100hp to work with?
Looking forward to frequent demise by cave ins, mosquitos, splinters, snake poison, walking barefeet and most of all, bum burn.

The volcano looks like a king of the hill piece for the kingdoms to fight over, so probably not a non-PvP-player thing to experience, like meteorites. Still a bit intrigued, since it reminds me of the DF Magma Forge.

Also yes, please, liftable drying frames.
Behold the power of ADHD and autism combined.(fml)

The issue of "Pay to Win" has been making headlines, but when you compare it to the common practice in modern Japanese games where you spend around 3,000 yen (20 USD) for ten gacha pulls and multiply that by about a hundred times for competitive play, I don't see any problems at all. In fact, the Japanese community hasn't discussed it at all. Please continue.

You know, now that you say that, J&L could be sitting on a gold mine if they were to add their own gacha boxes that give random hats you no longer can buy or sketches.
