Why is everyone bitching? Pretty much all cheese that dropped for us is worse than smoked sausages/pan-seared etc. in terms of feps AND fep/hunger. What's the problem here? You guys are like reddit - one starts bitching for no reason and everyone just joins in cuz they heard some noise. Cheese was brought in line with other foods.
It's like bitching about pork BBB giving 130 str2 feps. Until you notice it also gives 23% hunger now.

Awesome patch, awesome dungeon, good job guys!

I mean sure it's probably not as time-efficient as properly botted cheese + infinite suckling maws if we talking effort/piece of cheese. But the fact is, you need to wait for the cheese you make, with the dungeons you can just spam them until you roll a good one with mbc/sunlits/oscypki as the cheese you get from chunks and just get roughly a cupboard of it (qualities anywhere in the range between 10-150), so, as per usual, rng mechanic that is really broken on the high-end of abusing it. Especially once ppl figure out the most efficient way to spawn them.

+tbh, getting 4 cupboards of decent filler food is not a bad deal even if you don't roll the good cheese in the chunks.

And yeah early game this dungeon is a fucking joke that breaks everything lol.

Edit: I think it's also worth mentioning that regardless of if you're botting cheese or not, you need to have proper infrastructure and setup to actually make it, and the cheese is a reward for having built said infrastructure, feeding the animals, getting good quality wood for it, etc. Rat dungeons skip all of that unless you consider spamming houses to spawn them as the "infrastructure" and running the ant tier dungeon the "effort" which ig it is to a certain extent lol.

Needing to gather an entire fraction to do a day 1/2 cheese dungeon for needles sounds like insane asscancer if they're available right from the beginning of the world. For stat disparity between tryhards/regular people bea dungeons, questing for hunger, and salt all seem like worse offenders to me.

Jorbtar does a lot of security through obscurity stuff which is kindof bad, tho. Maybe if somebody figures out exactly how they work they'll be able to do something egregious

ABSOLUTELY BOMBACLAAT UPDATE!!!
Don't care if you got 3000 pieces of cheese building a ton of houses. If it's literally how you want to spend your time that's your problem lmao. Hnnng pls don't add thing to the game, you'll make me exploit it

  • Will consider the amount of cheese given in the dungeons, and their tiers. Could certainly be a fair bit OTT right now.
  • I had already made a note in the next-world-document to look at limiting dungeon spawns by e.g. ingame tech levels or the like, so will happen. Could do same for meteors.
  • Will have a look at the spawn logic for Dungeons. The intention isn't that you should have incentive to build houses to spawn Dungeons (not sure if you do/don't right now, tbh, but will look at it).

Fairly sure it'll be fine.

Thank you for input!

Yep... I think the good way to go is to erase all of the already looted cheese and not looting it anymore in this dungeon or a rollback.
