The only thing that hurts these people is losing their hat collection and tokens. Ban any and all accounts related to those people and their villages. A permanent, irreversible ban is the only way to go.

That's not gonna happen. The Devs are already so far gone from their game that they only use it whenever they need some spending cash.

Pointing some shit out here

-There is no such thing as a perma ban. You can perma an account sure, but you can't perma any individual user. Even using the same PC and connection they can spoof their IP and HWID.
-They ARE closely monitoring some players. It's fun for them. They like being gods in their own little playground. It's very obvious by the way they carry themselves. Just look at the title of the thread: "Divine intervention".
-These players often help the devs fix the bugs in return for leniency. Snail had that overpowered pneck because he helped loftar fix a bug, so the story goes.
-Most of these players RMT their hats once they gain value anyways, and likely keep duplicates on alt accounts of their faves.

You're very brave, admitting to being the devs pump and dump booty call in public like this.

Just pointing out that you already got comprehensively called out on your gaslighting BS, so perhaps it's time to drop it?

Monitoring "IP and HWID" is last century tech. Even Reddit does better than that today. There are many other ways to identify a unique user. Are you going to also "spoof" how often and how far you click to move? And a few hundred other things that the server can legitimately and easily track, without giving you any clues on what exactly the metrics are?

Reddit is also a company with a 40 billion dollar valuation, whereas this game is the part time hobby of two libertarian swedes.
Are you really surprised that a 40 billion dollar company that hosts a social media platform would have better moderation tools than Jorb and Loftar?

Hey now, I'm still here I just don't post very often! I do agree that punishments sometimes are lackluster personally, but equally they did say in this thread tell us before you exploit it. I think a legitimate ban should be across accounts, not just the account a character was on. With leniency towards the ones who atleast help fix the issue rather than those who just keep quiet and abuse them.

I do think serial abusers shouldn't be given the same treatment as people who come across an issue and report it however.
