To be fair, it's not the split world that caused this, it was announcing that it was "an experimental world" combined with their fucking dogshit naming nomenclature calling them "world 16.0 and 16.1."

And now they're continuing with 16.2, it just doesn't sound like a legitimate world worth playing (and it isn't.)

I agree the nomenclature is really bad, theres virtually no reason not to call this w17 in my eyes. But what makes you say the world isn't playing? I feel like any reset has inherent value since fresh worlds are always fun

I play games that have resets to experience the changes and new content. I'm not going to dump 1000 hours into a world that is effectively "new bird, 2 new trees, oh and we're trialing giving pvpers the ability to send you back to your hearth from anywhere." I'll save my energy for when they release something meaningful, like OCO, which surely is coming any day now since it's been the primary development focus for about 5 years now, right?

If you gonna add this bullshit you might as well just make hearthing back instant for everyone instead of needing an alt.

Jorbinator and Loftarius shouldn't waste so much dev time on a feature (PvP) most players just want removed.

Could you add a distinction between PVP combat and PVE combat when it comes to gates so that you can escape trolls (or even just animals in general) if you get unlucky and mine one out on a new mine level. I spent most of the last world without rage so I had an easier time mining what with the boreworms and such.

Single continent spawn
-This sucks. The continent spawns on 16.1 were great, made the early game more enjoyable.

Changes to disempower characters without "Rage" in combat. The current line of thinking is to make it possible to "evict" characters without "Rage" from more or less anywhere.
-This sucks. An eviction system will just be abused by both players and bots in this game.

Reworked system for Gildings.
-Okay? Gildings seemed decent in 16.1, I'd need more info to comment.

Overall I'd prefer the same rules as 16.1 but with the slower rate of time and automatic winepresses. A lot of this tweaking just feels like changing things for the sake of it, without any thought for exploitation or the player experience.

Please play your game without devtools and you will come to understand key issues and points of frustration for players. It seems like you're just listening to the top 0.1% of players who bot everything and only care about pvp. I don't know why you're so keen on pushing pvp in a game where people bot their way to success, it's pathetic.

What about the speed of the game - is it gonna be deafult as in W16 or sped up as in w16.1? Ngl, not enjoying dying silmoths throughout the night... Speeding up the game slightly mighe be a good idea, but as in w16.1 was just too much work for solo/duo players. Waking up and have sht ton of work in game to do before going to irl work, comming back and there is shit ton of work in game again.... Previous world let you enjoy the game just by few hours a day, w16.1 makes you grind all the time if you dont play in village
