I know you're an unserious person. But asking people to learn a mechanic when the price for failure is a wipe of dozens if not hundreds of hours of progress is a statement can only be conjured up by someone who has not touched grass in decades.

I don't understand what you are talking about. If you got KO, you will just heal and replace lost equipment (nothingburger). If you managed to die somehow (almost impossible if you are actively defending yourself, and you are full hp from the start), you just replace that equipment and do some numens to restore lost stats. If you did everything you will get almost 88% of stats back (lp will take a hit, but after some point, LP isn't really a thing to care so whatever) in a couple of hours (a bit more if you are not stocking everything like METAGAMERS do).
Where is "hundred of hours"? Are you spreading this bullshit intentionally or never ever bothered to figure out how game works?

No offense, I'm genuinely not trying to be rude but this can only be your stance if you're retarded or being disingenuous. Like, I agree that the game doesn't do enough to teach basic concepts, but your account is 14 years old.

In 14 years you didn't manage to befriend some nerd who'd chase you for a couple hours as practice?
You can't login an alt somewhere and be annoying until somebody chases you?
You aren't just intuitively kinda good at movement after moving your character around for 14 years?
Even if you did go straight from 0-the real thing your chance of dying is extremely slim, and even if you did die you only lose like 20% stats.
You could just buy a character with near top stats for like 35 euro.
The new world is soon, and you will have the opportunity to get chased by equal opponents on a character that's only a few hours old.
You've been around for like 10 world ends, where you could've practiced/died each time and it wouldn't have mattered.

Like, an actual new player player being like "this is kindof autistic and tedious" I'd get it. Specifically YOU, after over a decade, actually have no excuse.

The conversation is about running away from PvP nerds, not foxes. If a PvP nerd catches you, you're going to be dead, not KOed. How much of your stats you can recover is dependent on how much the world and the base has progressed. It is unlikely that say a character that's a few weeks or months old on a new world is going to have everything required to get 88% of stats back (and LP certainly still matters at this stage). Additionally if you're at the stage of the game where you've "metagamed" to prepare for death, you probably don't need training to run away from people.

In the future, I recommend you rub a couple of braincells together to visualize the practical context of a conversation, rather than just kneejerk reacting to a few trigger words like a dog that just heard the word "walk". This will save you precious time from writing inane drivel, save everyone else's sanity from reading it, and save me time from mocking it.

So there is this concept called empathy. It's the ability to understand how another might feel and put themselves in their shoes. It allows you to agree and make an argument for something that is true/good/desirable, even if it isn't directly relevant or beneficial to you. What I am doing is practicing this concept called empathy, by pointing out that the nature of a steep cost to pay for training something is an unrealistic cost for most well-adjusted individuals. Even if I had suffered through the autistic trials and tribulations while I had too much time on my hands in uni.

As an enjoyer of fighting games, I agree. It'd also be cool if we could "Duel" our friends without suffering injuries and what not.

Wtf have some empathy bro, I want to be the best without having to actually try”

Theres a reason most epic peepy eepy boys use alts for combat. You can crank out a viable one in like a week if you have good infrastructure.

Also like all those other people said, your chances of dying are literally 0% no matter how shit you are. How many times has pvp actually happened to you?

Why would you ever use an alt for pvp with how unlikely you are to die
