No, which I guess is my point - if either of them ever played in something resembling a faction, it didn't really seem to matter because it never came up - it didn't define them. I don't know that a good mod necessarily MUST not be in a faction, but being in a faction can't be their only reason for relevance (as was the case of noneck, a literal nobody prior to w15 begging multiple people to play with them w15 before resorting to WB.)

Thanks, 13-post-nobody, but you are doing exactly what you are accusing ardennes of doing by popping into this community out of nowhere, seemingly corralled by robben, to defend a group of toxic people.

Ardennes is a known neutral in this community. He created one of the most popular clients and shared it with everybody, and it is still used and built upon by others to this day. I guarantee that people in WB use it.

He has also been a neutral voice of reason in many discussions.

I hate to break it to the WB cult, but 'not liking' one of the few loud spokespeople in your community doesn't automatically affiliate you with some kind of opposition group. Your WB core team are spamming and instigating fights all througohut the community and the only people defending them are those who conspire with them, or those who are asked to.

It could not be more transparent to the average user. Icky.

I am mortified by the levels of pettiness on display in a thread about making the forum and the community a better place.

The amount of people carrying game grudges into personal ones and the blatant, shameless accusations are downright childish. I enjoy my drama as much as the next person (aside from people who hit the no drama zone -- temporarily) but this is absurd. You people have to remember this is a game, and while it is fun to shit-talk and cause mischievous drama based on in-game things is a large part of this, it seems a vocal few seem to take it quite personally. Separate the game from personal attacks and baseless accusations. Get professional help if you are incapable of doing something a child learns before they even grow up.

Grow the fuck up and act better, it's a game.

Edit: Oddity gets my vote, for whatever that counts. It seems cruel to choose him, however. Ardennes and Pills were also quite level headed and reasonable.
