Considering possible unintended consequences? :)

In case one has the key the gate would have be passable already, but now one can't let others in with a slave anymore (since leaving with it might supress the debuff, entering won't). Any other consequences you (or anone else here) sees?

They would still get the Visitor buff, but since they do not commit crimes against the village while partied, it will not prevent them from doing things. The Visitor debuff only prevents actions that would actually leave scents.

Indeed. Actually gaining and betraying trust is still as possible as it ever was.

Certainly, I agree that it seems fairly safe; I just generally don't like rushing these kinds of changes. We'd like to see the consequences of this change first. Little by little. :)

Excellent, there is going to be a very unhappy village tonight.

Wow.

Radical concept, ain't it?

Why is raiding-by-subterfuge something that needed to be designed out of the game?

Can we get more buildings with functionality? All those buildings seems to be just more storage and bragging rights.

Because what you call subterfuge is actually just what passes for raiding under a generally broken paradigm? If anything we should, and can now, focus on adding more meaningful sieges.

Gaining and betraying trust is still possible.

Cellars built after this patch should have walls.

You don't know how much I've been wanting to put a spiders web in my cellar! And, as it happens I'm just building a new mansion, so, yay! :D

Also like the new tower building.

As for the open gates thing, I'm not leaving my gates open until you come up with an eviction plan. :P

Where is Em and Amanda? - you two are late for tea already! :P

Em is like some sort of night owl, lol, it's quite hard to be on at the same time as her when I have to get up early, but we really should sort it out and set a date, I'm looking forward to visiting. :D

Yes. Don't visit places you don't trust. Good rule of thumb in life in general.

Oooooh, I smell Red Weddings.

It would be cool if 'Bread & Salt' was added as a food item. Giving it to a visitor will protect it from claim owner/villagers attacks
