They won't fly over cliffs so if you find some near a cliff area chase them towards it

Lol, they fly! How are you supposed to catch them though, you need a horse and they fly off over water ... as someone else said a few pages ago ... if you do catch them you lose them in the water ... :(

yes duck its a dino... ok past chickens we for are 1nd dine in game ::winks::.

but ya I just smashed one with a horse and picked it up, mainly wanted to be able to make beated bird breast again... and yes duck feather you can study.

just tried to place them in a chicken coop didnt work... *alive ones*

I just Butchered a chicken and unlocked "beated bird breast" the recipe calls for poultry meat.

The best way I've found to catch ducks is with a friend. Have 1 person chase the duck, while the other person who is stationed where the duck would fly towards will catch it.

Also, it seems while ducks can fly, they cannot go fly over cliffs, and will go around them instead like any other animal.
