I think you can just put like 199 of every stone in game and 201 of rock crystals

no, c'mon, people... you playing this game for an ages and don't know even basic mechanics?

You call this a basic mechanic?
It requires lot of researching, time and effort to find out how stuff like that exactly works. Most people dont care as they dont have any need to find that out.

Emm, yeap, I call this that way. I don't like to be surrounded by ugly thighs, so I've spent like a 5 minutes to research, how does multi-texturing system works. Why don't you both?

Dunno if jorb is still reading this thread, but I just want to dispute something he said at the end of the video in regards to siege balance

I completely disagree that having your base destroyed makes people quit the game. Everytime I have been attacked, my base looted, my town destroyed in haven/salem it has driven me to play the game longer than I otherwise would have.

I think every world I have quit or gone inactive is because the opposite; not enough happening. you said yourself one of the main problems is stuff getting repetitive/tedious, walls being too strong is the main factor there.

If some huge server zerg faction way more powerful than me forces me to abandon my settlement/hermitage it would only prolong the amount of time I played that world, before getting bored and qutting until the next.

Unfortunately i'm too out of touch with the current gameplay to make concise suggestions, but I just think you are wrong and that most people are like me in this regard. you might not enjoy losing your base but it gives you a reason to make a new base, and making new bases is fun! like at world start. staying in same base for months is dulllllllll.

please consider making towns much easier to take vs a superior force. like really, if you know a big faction is nearby its not viable to just make walls and stay inside but only move far away sort of thing.

According to my rough calculations you'd need at least 272 crystals and 64 of each of 27 other possible stones/ores for the crystals to take up all the stone textures. If any of the other stones you put in would exceed 1/4th of the crystals it would take up the 3rd texture.

Yes, the answer is not more safety but a more fast game play.
Face it, q300 carrot is not an appealing goal, the goals people like are thoses involving death.
Low stat cap + fast growing toon = more insentive to yolo your toon and have fun around, go and fight even when you are not that sure you could win.
