Every single update that has ever been implemented with the intention to hurt titans and elites, also hurts weaker players more. You think animal armor stopped early world cheese of boars/bears/mammoths for people who had spears within 48 hours? Lol. Not sure when the community is going to realize that everything you can think of doing to close the gap between Chud Sprucecap and Chad Titan is actually just going to widen it.

@VDZ

It's bold of you to think that I'm talking about noobs.
The skill caps are fun at the start of the game not near the end (what is why removing them after a vote would be nice).
Teleporting has annoyed a large amount of the community; It's always been a fight back and forth, even roads some say are to far and ruin gameplay.
In a world of voting on different rules things could be enabled and disabled during the world - starting with the simple rules at the start of the world (so day 7 world teleport is not a thing).

@vatas
Tokens do not give you bronze+ statues they only give you sub benefits.
Tokens are more expensive anyhow; so if they were to include tokens~ a player would have to spend all their X tokens for one month of votes but then next month they would have to do it again possibly.
The voting system is indefinitely flawed for that fact that anyone with deep pockets could push the vote in their favor. but at peak 4000-5000 players at the start of the world, I doubt it.

@strpk0
Players are not designers, but at the same time they get to pick and choose the games they play, and voice the directions of their games they play. if J&L makes a rule and you don't like it. what then? you seem to be complaining right now that some changes hurt the gameplay for you.
In a system where people were able to vote to change rules. they could over turn J&L rules - saying at the start of the game "players can't get into content" most players never get into trading with markets. A large problem with that is factions players pub stomping anyone they see. That's why death has changed so much since world 2. Most players quit on the first death and a lot more quit because the game is complicated.

if you look at the current player base, most players are RP players or people who like to just play Farmville.
The voices on the forum might be the loudest but are far away from being the majority.

I like how fast travel always gets nerfed at the end of the world when 95% of players don't even bother to check the forums and give their opinion

There was no nerf of fast travel in this patch.

Well fixing the exploit is an indirect nerf, not really a big one though, nevermind that, what I wanted to say is SOME PEOPLE that want fast travel nerfed always emerge on the forum at the end of the world trying to spam their ideas and spread their anti-fast travel movement, it's always the same people and what really triggers me is that you will never see them a week after the world starts because they already quit at that point.

I'm glad real world democracies don't work on rules like that anymore....

In a F2P game that rules is necessary,

It's not, though. Other means can be used to prevent abuse of the system if the game developer wants to use them.

OSRS does it as well when voting what features/changes go in, only Member accounts can vote.

Well, I have my opinions on Runescape to begin with. And without looking at their rules and such, I'm sure they have problems with cheating on such voting. The difference is the number of active players. With tens of thousands of active players, it becomes difficult to cheat the system because of the sheer volume needed to shift the counts fractions of a percent. Such rules even become unnecessary when you start approaching millions of accounts.

I just was about ready to post a long essay about treating customers, ie players, as people no matter their ability to pay be it age, location in the world, job status, etc, but really, I don't need to... or rather, I shouldn't have to.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

tks for fixing a exploit, it was useful? yes, it was dumb? yes? and very abused for a lot of people. tks for making the world more balanced. but the suggestion that someone said to inherit the stones list sound wonderful, other way could be increased will to transport someone to on a cart.

shubla wrote:Noobs cant afford charter stones because all crystals are botted.
dude that's BS, look like you are had not play this world for a while, you can found crystals easily, or maybe you are talking of the beginning of the world

that would have been a good thing, you know?, tks again jorb

Pikard wrote:Sounds good, works bad. World is huge and sailing for an hour in the ABSOLUTELY EMPTY ocean is my worst experience in haven by far.
go and play Farmville then, in this game you have to travel to get things, or be a botter, your choice.

azrid wrote:You'll have a worse experience if I and some other nerds teleport our army of crime alts to wreck everything.
ACTION, its that you?

oh boy, they exist, believe me.

wonder-ass wrote:Don't sell garbage and your market might actually compete. Don't blame over world teleportation for your shitty market losing to a market that spends 20x your effort.
agreed

Can you at least make it so you can inherit your charter stone memo's? Travelling after forageables are useful is incredibly boring and is usually just done without looking at the game.
agreed

how about add natural charters as checkpoints for travelers?
agree

ctopolon4 wrote:how about fix wagon station? (no visiter if you steal wagon)
how about fix kicksled ability to ignore visiter buf for trespass for passengers? (transfer chars into houses and minehole after visitor's gates)

how about fix alt.char abuse for every thing (scouting (eyes24\7), offline keep, gathering rare resources, alchemy tests, wax gathering, botting, cachalot hunting) [make here abit more requiriments for this shit, normal players will not cry] [ how about summon beacon cost 1RockCry+ 3kEXP? and you have to DeepArtifice +3kEXP to gather RockCry?] [stat check when fueling, harvesting, move\slice cheese] [5kEXP magic to leave your body and scout like a soul]
[reduce stamina consumption for everything to not press drink button all time, and dont spam alts to save food or hp, dont provoke players to alts.spam, make alts.spam harder & useless] [only god can be everywhere]
this looks important to fix TBH

Ad the trust thing goes on whole another level if you're not meeting in neutral place (like a market) where both players have a visitor buff.
a safe area run by the devs could do the trick, could be nice have a nice city to trade where you can not enter if you are outlawed or red handed, just a place to visit, do a trade and continue with your life, like TIBIA's city depots

You are absolutely clueless about how people play haven.

Hey, dumb question: what do people actually do with the army of crime alts they teleport near your base?

Its not a secret that you are a noobkiller that exploited the system.

I mean, ye. I talk about it publicly every day. Murdering people with my friends is the entire reason I play the game.

Still, I have a lot more credibility than you if you can't even answer the simple question "what does the army of crime alts actually do?" When that statement is your entire basis for an argument in favor of mechanics that lessen other people's experience
