back to actionable thingy. would it be too much to ask for removal of variable rock quality drops while mining. this thing serves literally noone. messes up your gains, proves nothing except devs ability to fuck up with your karma.
what it dos is prove a low of waste material. if you intended a material sink, this is not the way.
yes, no, maybe?

I'm sorry to inform you they're never going to fix mining. They worked very hard to break that

Yeah and in the time they took shrinking the tile q range, they added:
  • mine supports decay over time (cave decay in general) and, worse yet, decay every time you break a cavein tile. Enjoy your 25 capacity nugget stockpiles!
  • having to wait for Mine Pyres to get ore for hard metal (1 week) and Iron (2 weeks).
  • Lowest mine levels require Potter Credo (lol) and previously meteorite (LUL)
  • Boreworms have armor class
  • Annoying stupid ass fucking dipshit retarded boulders that you can’t toggle off

Adding 10 points of badness, then later reducing it to 5 is not an improvement. I'm pretty sure you'd agree W10 mining was better, and everything making it worse could be easily mitigated/avoided.

As per usual, the upsetting part of the situation isn't even that [thing] is worse. It's that Jorbtar is either willfully ignorant, or sunk cost fallacying themselves into the ground.

my good friend you will have to explain to the class what the green line is at the end there, could that be my favorite mechanic: the bonfire?

Random noise for dramatic effect, but bonfires are neutral or good for the 99%, IMO. REEEing about contentious things is a waste when indefensible things like boulders exist. If a kid got "defend boulders" as his card in debate class he'd have a harder time than the kid that got "defend slavery".

We are all technically still slaves. A man who cannot choose to stop working and who is forced through imprisonment in flesh, wired to pain receptors and punished with death for failure to consume and comply, is not free at all. Yoked to the wheels of nature from birth, in a world that is melting and on fire, where Entropy and Decay gnaw forever, we endlessly roll our boulders uphill: I am Sisyphus.

You could choose to stop being a miserable pissant at any time though. No one is forcing you to play this.
