Even when you're not on a horse now. Entering on foot used to always work, now it usually doesn't work on the first try if you approach it from the side. Due to my base layout this happens very, very often for me.

That is, Zig is the only move to cooldown fast enough and give enough of a yellow reduction to be viable against a fast and high-opening move like storm.
Zig Zag ruse’s downside for being a reasonable yellow and red reduction is giving your opponent(s) IP, which usually isn’t a huge deal since it’s less than IP most moves take. The problem here is that Zig Zag gives every opponent 2 IP which is exactly how much IP SoS costs. So each time you reduce the openings caused by a single SoS you are “reloading” SoS for everyone in combat against you, essentially making the IP system pointless. Note that no other yellow reduction can keep up with Storms even in a 1v1.
I therefore propose: in addition to reducing the amount it opens, Storm’s IP cost should be increased to at least 3. It should not be free (or worse in group fights) against the only PVP-viable yellow reduction.
In other words: "I'm giving my opponent free IP, and now he's attacking me with it"? Have you considered not giving your opponent free IP when they use a SoS deck? To me this sounds like a reason to
ignore the cries to nerf SoS as you seem to be autopiloting the old meta and feeding directly into your opponent's strategy.
If it really is not feasible to restore yellow without giving your opponent tons of IP (lack of alternatives), then therein lies the problem. But the restoration giving 2 IP is obviously the wrong pick against the strategy that relies on spamming a 2 IP move. Even Jump is obviously better in this situation than Zig-Zag Ruse. (In other games there have been worse options used as counter-meta, e.g. Slash Panther in MTG's Vintage format.)
