You're using your MAIN WEBSITE account to login to your STEAM ACCOUNT when your STEAM ACCOUNT already has an ACCIDENTAL WEBSITE ACCOUNT. You need to logout, follow the prompt to give a STEAM ACCOUNT a username, something like oopsie daisy or whatever, thus giving you access to your ACCIDENTAL account. Once in this ACCIDENTAL account, UNLINK from Steam leaving your STEAM ACCOUNT barren, then log back into your MAIN WEBSITE account and LINK to Steam.

i don't have the slightest freaking idea what you're saying so i'm just going to assume i'm forced to buy a 2nd verification for my steam character

You don't have to, but if it's too complicated to follow what he mentioned, then yes you should.

The question is how to untie it from Steam? she is already in the steam account and writes when connecting ( The Steam account you selected already has an associated Haven account. )

If I understand you correctly - you cannot unlink the automatically Steam-created account from Steam without loosing all progress made. What you can do, is link that steam account to a new HnH account. Log out, and then you will have the option to link an existing steam account.

Huh so there are more players on steam, than the ones using default launcher. Also we should have reached 2k by now as on steam there's almost 1k peak of all time.

haha i just remembered this old account I had from apparently 2013 last log in
started playing again via steam, so now that steam account has an anonymous HnH account created for it?
cause when i try to link it it says there is one linked for it
