yeah if an animal wanders in youre just stuck. one time last week though i had a moose wander in and aggro me and it was like the boss arena closed it was kinda hype. we wasted our new armor on killing it immediately so it didnt try to bash stuff.

Please make Study Circle, just like Folded Roasting Spit where we can pick it up and then place it down anywhere, I guess when it is empty would be suited best no?

Yeah it's great that they want to experiment and try new things, however in order for that to produce any benefit the ideas need to have solid reasoning behind trying them out. They also need to actually read and act on feedback that players are providing, and this patch clearly shows they are not.

I can guarantee that preventing players from running through not only gates while in combat but also locked doors has a detrimental effect on the overall PvP and PvE activity, and it completely nullifies claiming and building anything beyond one's own place of residence for the purpose of defence and safety. Why exactly should I put a lock on any buildings considering this would only make surviving more difficult when combat occurs?

Not sure what are people bitching about, it is nice to see legacy stuff making its way to current game and study circle is the best entry for new players or players that haven't progressed as far, by giving them convenience. Keep it up devs. Fuck them hardcore 20 alts players, if devs want to break through to every day player, the better for them. I guess this is one way to reach concurrent 1000 players on steam alone.

The hardcore 20 alts players don't want you to know this but the squirrels, bunbuns and chickens in the park are free. You can take them home, I have 458 bones. But I get it, Carpentry is gated behind Lumberjacking and Foraging, it's not that easy for an every day player to get them.
Jokes aside I think most people are disappointed that the patch, especially for an EXPERIMENTAL WORLD WITH PARADIGM SHIFTING CHANGES, contains so little. I understand that developers also have a life (or so they say) but historically they work in bursts of new content following a new world. But hey, a new hat.
The Study Circle isn't even inherently bad (though I still wish we could walk over it), but the marigin of time it's useful over just making a Study Desk is so miniscule I don't think anyone is going to bother, except maybe for throwaway alts to get that Rage up on them.

The study circle is pretty funny when you can make a study desk like 45 minutes after making your character
