were we able to path through banners? i remember being able to which i kept a hearth fire next to but after patch i cannot

That's why i'm stuck on my hearth fire with the sheep on it, since the "humping" made it so i could walk out :(

Yeah, we were. Now I have a couple patches of crops where banners were placed that I cannot harvest anymore. Can the banners be reinstated in having no hitbox again?

I really LOVE the update, but being able to click around objects was a huge part of skill aspect in combat, I don't see any more skill input required to the current combat, because that was all it had.

Not sure I'd agree on that one. Maybe it's not the best type of combat skill, but managing area awareness and input control is a core aspect of combat in some games. World of Tanks comes to mind.

Unfortunately though for a sandbox game like this, I agree it's not a good combat design to work towards since combat terrain can be bland in many places due to player location design.
