Give it a few weeks (unfortunately). I think the numbers have to do with A) first day, and B) how people are spawning. Jorb stated nothing changed from last world, but I'm seeing a lot more people than I did then, too. (Might be because I got dropped almost in a corner then, so less than half as much chance as someone spawning near me.)
