I am extremely disappointed you guys. You just had to go and break the game again :< Megalag is back and it got worse than ever (for me, at least).

Also, yes, expanding fake kingdom over wherever every 48 hours with no actual cost? That's just poor gamecraft skills. Re-do.

How so? Shouldn't it be possible to spread over the oceans?

There will just be 1 gigantic realm.
Without spreading over oceans, there could have been 1 realm on each continent, alliances and wars between them, instead of one or two large ones.

This. Once again it's not breaking up the big groups to own everything.

some kind of vassal/colony system would have been a better solution.

What is motivation for me to wage war against foreign realm if I am unable to conquer their lands?

circlejerking ...

if you ask this way ...

A realm should be more than a reason to wage a war against another and to conquer ... unless its just this it's really nothing more ... which happens even without realms anways ...

tbh, all a realm is to me is a good justifiable reason to not slaughter hermits. Inter realm warfare is just a transmutation of inter factional warfare that was happening beforehand.

Less realms, or less uncovered territory at least will probably reduce raiding a bit. Not something I'm personally complaining about.

jorb wrote:Added "Seamarks". Seamarks are a Realm Authority object which can only be built on shallow ocean tiles. Once a Seamark has been constructed within your Realm, you are allowed, once every 48 hours, to place a new Seamark anywhere in the world, without having to first connect your Realm to that point, thus allowing you to spread the Realm across oceans. Fun times!
