You could probably stack up numerous warnings for example in Kaios post history in the last month or 2

Looks like mods are just checking all post posts of ppl who is writing at forum rn, and check for smth to give ban. There is more ppl who get 1 day ban for old posts at dead treads.

Any reports older than 1 month I've closed, any reports older than 2 weeks that are actually rule breaking and detrimental to the overall state of the forums have recieved a warning at best. Any post younger than 2 weeks have either recieved warnings or in cases of the likes of hate speech, a 1 day ban. Will I ever get through the report list that never stops growing? Who knows. But working back to front atleast means everything will get seen.

I am trying to be fair and unbiased while going through the reports, but it takes time and this forum isn't exactly a spring chicken with its tech. I've recieved several dm's from people asking why they have been given a warning and not others, understand it takes time to get through this list and I'm doing this voluntarily. I'm also trying to preserve the rock & roll nature of the forum so being a little lax on some over others depending on which subforum they are in. For instance, moot having drama is what moot is for, c&i and dwarves & thieves isn't.

Regarding the bans being 1 day, i'm trying to be conscious of the overall 'culture' of haven, regardless of a posters history i'm treating the offending posts as singularities to try and set some sort of precedent moving forward. Maybe that's not the right way to do it, but its what i've landed on.

In the mean time, if y'all could just calm down and stop shitting up c&i so we can just pretend the last week or so hasn't happened there and stop making bait topics, even if the ideas were atleast slightly thought about to appear genuine, that would be great.

Would be good if we can see the name of the moderator and the date when the ban or warning was issued, so the moderation is more transparent

Yeah that's fair, the edits are manual, i'm fine with it being more transparent will take that onboard moving forward.

I got a week ban for potty mouth and the post I was banned for wasn't even bad compared to some of my others. I'll take another if I have truly earned it. Would that make you feel better?

No, he clarified that he went through some old reports instead of some selective moderation. Even though if it was up to me I would moderate the provocatour and the responses to the provocation differently. All is good
