I grab all the easy discoveries for LP, raise my foraging-related stats to around 10–15, collect as many hides as I can and try to dry them in a cave. I build a study desk, eat some spit-roasted fish, and try to get a claim going.

Start game, do quests to get rage, get rage in like 5-6h tops, then go and steal your study desk and yoink the hides. (I would love to see questing removed from the game and rage being a lot cheaper so everyone can actually defend their claim)
