You might want to find a village or specialize as an hermit, this seems to be the most sane things to do in this world imo

I was a hermit with a village, now I am the leader of a village. (The old one quite the game a few days ago, I was asked by one of the few villagers to take over if I wanted.). The village has 2 farmers and a miner, and why I am making cheese, in order to go deeper he needs strength.

I have played this game since the end of world 5 never seen silver or gold ever in the game.

Fish nodes have a density value as well as quality nodes. Fishing in a low density node will indeed take 10-30 minutes per fish. But in a high density one (you can tell based on how frequently the fish jump) the catch rate is one per minute or more.

I had a high density node and found fishing useful ish. The problem I had was the randomness of the stats. But that was before fish pies.

Yes but its also a very blunt and time consuming thing to make. Time which players do not have a lot of. So if someone could do silk they would be making a lot of profits in trade. Them big guys love them merch robes, for the int and space it adds. Plus ranger gear.

Annoyingly perception no longer affects archery, so ranger gear is really only good for the delightfully broken system that is foraging
