Since Skye is in Scotland and Claymores are Scottish, will we be getting a two handed sword?

Thank you! I believe the first one should already be fixed if you download a new .exe. Any idea what you were doing when you got this second one? Early game? Fiddling around with the mouse?

EDIT: I think I found and fixed it. Thanks for reporting!

Is it supposed to open a shadow image of each text box that appears? I mean they both disappear when you hit the acknowledge button but it looks kinda funky.

I've debated that myself. One is presented on the map, along with the "New" sign, by the new thing, and the other is in a movable UI window.
