I mean, for small batches, handcrafting off the fire works just fine...

Not working. Do you need some higher-level skill for it?

Ok either I'm going insane, someone isn't telling me everything, or there's a bug.

No option in the crafting menu.

Animal fat I got while butchering a wild boar I killed myself.

Unless it takes First Aid or something (I don't have First Aid yet) I don't understand at all!

My final thought is maybe I didn't "unlock" the animal fat correctly. Apparently there's a way to get fat from regular old meat -- where is the damn crafting recipe for that, or how do I do that?! For goodness sake I didn't think this would be so irritating...

But the butter is also not open. I will assume that you don't have the Animal Husbandry skill (750 LP Required).

What's the snakeskin belt do?

Gonna craft one tomorrow regardless, but would be nice to get a heads up on what I'm getting if someone's made one already.

Two cells for tools (a la Hunter's Belt). The snakeskin belt does not make snakes passive (checked) %)

That is true. I wish someone would have said "the skill you need is Animal Husbandry" about 4 comments ago...

Gonna go edit the wiki so others don't get lost.

A very good idea to chase new players away with adding even more dangers (aggressive animals) for beginners when roaming around to get into the game ... :P

What the hell? Soap only heals one point at a time? To heal just 17 (what I have) points of infection it'll use up a shit-ton of meat..

I'm guessing it also stops it from going up, since you disinfected it.

Hm. Maybe. Devs are quite tricky with their implementations..I wasn't expecting it to away instantly..but at least heal a little more than just a point..it takes 27 pieces of meat just to create one bar of soap that has three uses...
