When you use the net, it will get messy, full of knots and stuff. Thus the net must be cleared by using a specific non-liftable work station. You could just right click the net into the station and then process it. like this.
You should also get tons of fish from the nets. When the clearing of net is added, it would be more balanced, as you have to do more work to use the nets.
There should also be option to repair nets, as they sometimes get damaged from fishes or even seals breaking them.

Not a bad idea. However, I think fishing needs a bit of an overall rework for this to be meaningful. It's fairly retarded how angle fishing is objectively "better" right now since it just gets you pretty much all the kinds of fish in the area. I do have some ideas on how to remedy that, but we haven't gotten around to it yet.

they took one inventory space and that was a mistake. looks like they fixed it.
