Hate to say it, but we are not going to get there this week either. Midsummer's is a thing in Sweden, and we're working on a bigger thing.

You will have to make due with a WIP screenshot for now.

Hopeful for next week!

Son... That's an alembic. Alembics are good for all SORTS of fun things.

My bet is on being able to distill hermit tears saltwater for salt and drinkable water.

Alembics can produce:
Sugar (true... From Beets?)
Salt (I highly doubt this is it... Unless Sea Salt is a spice and Salt Crystals remain what they are)
Spirits (Gin, Bourbon, Whiskey, Rye, etc)
Essential Oils (From flowers (and Cave Bulbs?), herbs, tree sap/bark (turpentine), etc for medicines and other industrial materials, etc)
Aqua Regia (A highly pure form of alcohol used mostly in medicine)

That's just the tip of the iceberg.

LOTS of things can be distilled down to a purer form.

Probably some cool dynamic system where you can use various herbs to make potions and they will buff different attributes kind of like how variable ingredients with food works.

Aqua vitae is A highly pure form of alcohol used mostly in medicine. Thats the stuff out which whiekey gin bourbon was developed. Vodka means water, whiksey means water of life.
And the process is as long you dont store it in a barrel or dont differentiate in the sourcematerial 100% identical.
Aqua Regia is some Acid concotion to melt metals.

Hm, a base equipment that can be poteneially used in:

Gold refining
Alcohol production
sea salt extraction (new spice?)/water desalination (suddenly higher q ocean water tiles become even more interesting)
Sugar Production
essential oil extraction (make those spices even more potent)
...

But yeah expansion into mining, food, and medicine potential so definitely well worth the wait.
