as for me often i cant remember correct spelling of the word. but if i know what its tree i can find it in short list.
same for search/ search use less if i whong spelling.
more example. if i need to find trees for bough i need chek more than 1 tree. search one by one?
uncheking 3-10 items? scroll until die.

The tree icons are too big and noticable change from how custom clients handle mini map icons

I should mention that my posts were from a position of using Amber's Client. Unsure if you can pop out and resize in default.

You could just load up the glorious default client and try it for yourself.
