New Implementations
-----------------------
- Added a power indicator to dungeon rooms. Rooms spawning a set number of waves of enemies, or rooms where the objective is to have all enemies dead simultaneously, have a power indicator communicating either, in the former case, how many enemies total are left, or, in the latter case, how many enemies are alive. Hopefully this communicates the objectives of these rooms a bit better.
- Rooms in Ant Hills where the ants drop keys to unlock doors will cease spawning new ants once all doors have been unlocked.
- Rooms in Ant Hills which require a key to open have a fatter padlock on them to better communicate this.
- You may now smoke weird meats (Ants, Cave Lice, Trolls, Chasm Conches, &c).
- Added "Hedgedog", sausage. How this pun has gone overlooked for so long is the real mystery.
Key Fixes
-----------------------
- Fixed a bug by which the combat indicator for the currently active main target wasn't working.
- Claims should now, as in Legacy, have a small outline, indicating their edges better.
Small Fixes
-----------------------
- "Butcher's Surprise" now requires one cut of animal fat.
- You may now carry Ant Keys on your key ring.
- The Ant Hill dungeon keys, opening the door to the Ant Queen by being placed in a receptacle, now have distinct graphics
- Redrew the "Craft" and "Build" icons in the main action menu with higher resolution to support UI scaling.
- Internal disagreement as to whether "Elven Lights" and "Yule Star" should be wall items or not. Date set for pistol duel to settle the matter.
As always, if you liked what we did here: Support the patch.
Today's Patch Items, for the fair price of $9, is the "Exotic Hat".
Store Description wrote:$9 Sweet scented plumes, borrowed from some faraway rainforest, and wafting an air more tropical.
All Gold subscribers have been awarded the "Exotic Hat", free of charge.
In the Pipe
-----------------------
- Do note that most of the changes to Dungeons above will only apply to dungeons generated after this patch.
- Again urging any custom client maker who wishes to stay relevant to get with the new rendering times. Support for the old resources will be dropped at some point.
- We are working toward object controlled objects, quite simply. The server protocol changes are largely complete, and will otherwise progress in tandem with work on object controlled objects.
