Or more likely, they just hoard it for trade value. I know I'm not studying mine because I value them more as trade goods. But I doubt number of items of the type in existence in the world is related to how many are in the global pool.

I've always thought the global pools regenerate over time, x amount every y hours sorta deal. I don't think flotsams existing in a cupboard cucks people trying to forage for them.

As for dungeons, I'm pretty sure only a certain amount of each type can exist in the game world at any given time

I'm currently trying to find out about this global pool horse manure , I'm under the belief that horded items in cupboards don't stop new foragables from spawning.

However everytime someone picks a foragable(?) It reduces from the Global Pool..

If you played runescape think like;

Drop party chest, every minute/day/hour so many items are added to the chest

One lynx walks in on your day and you're infected before you get out of the swamp. Oh, and the midge you didnt see while fleeing gave you a fever

Does Swamp Fever give an unlisted INT penalty? The old description noted it gave -1 INT but this is not listed in the new description. My swamp alt currently has -6 INT; 5 is from Asphyxiation, but there's nothing listed that would give an INT debuff.

Swamps are no longer scary. Poisoning gives -5 PER for one night in bed.
And yet, Jorb, how did you manage to add the treatment of a new disease to the elementary components without breaking the entire alchemical table of this world?

Asphyxiation has healed, only Swamp Fever is left, no other wounds. Still -1 INT. Not sure if it's a static -1 or if it's relative like the others (my swamp alt only has 11 INT).
