Houses can be bashed by hand but they're still on the list of things that soak up

It doesn't really matter for those other objects anyways. Kilns/ovens/smelters are annoying to bash and can be used to slow people down if you're trying to protect some siege equipment or something, but still not really a huge deal

Ignore everything Jordan said he's kinda retarded. Other siege equipment, and obscure clipping methods you're never going to fix are the main ones.

Making the ram able to hit stuff in every direction, or at least a 180* arc would prolly fix most of the issues. It's still kinda retarded that you could accidentally run a ram parallel to a wall, and not be able to get it off without running it forward/backwards all the way off the wall.

I feel like you guys are going to spend way too much time trying to fine-tune this when it will never actually be fully fixed, and the thing you're trying to make work nobody likes & is actively bad for the game. Realms suck. The social impact realms have had on the game(other than realm chat) sucks. You yourself would not be willing to make a realm, nor enjoy it. Nobody does. Why focus so hard on the worst aspects of your game when you could just make them ignoreable?

rotating catapults by firing them, and if you change that it will have huge impact on catapult fights as well as be a huge noob trap in terms of building stuff too close

edit:

As far as I can tell, there are still around 1/5-1/3 or so of players using ArdClient.

How many of them are using the updated one--https://www.havenandhearth.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=68754--vs the older one--https://www.havenandhearth.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=62292 ? And a lot of the older ones won't switch until they have to. I don't want to drive away players, as shutting off the old assets likely would. I don't know how much this is complicating adding in anything to the client, but know it is some level of hassle.

Just to note: a lot of people had to quit because their older computer (first-second gen iCore processors) were running Intel graphics that didn't support OpenGL properly.
