We'll talk to trees before we get new mods.

Green pixels on the screen relieve stress because your primitive instincts will think that you're in forest when they see green.

As you probably already know there was an advertising spambot on here yesterday, and that’s a pretty unambiguous situation where moderation is the only way to make the forum less shit to use

And while there are a plethora of other, less-straightforward cases where moderation would increase the quality of the forum for everyone and the only thing stopping it is the laissez faire/centrist/free speech attitudes of moderation here, eh idk if that tide’s ever going to turn (hence most of the playerbase moving to discords which appeal to their interests and trim problem users or at least do not cater to them)

It is of course funny to me that something as nakedly critical for game community health as “making sure there are enough forum mods” is now just another item on the mountainous stack of “Will Considers” and long-term goals that might be gotten around to some day Soon (tm). But funny in the sad way, that community engagement is generally not a high priority.

The real question is if anything is a high priority at this point

Here in Europe we are all busy digging a backyard bunker for the next world war.

Once that's done, they'll go back to developing and moderating, from the bunker!
