Having trouble completing pallisade gates. Space is two wide, underneath is stone... is the stone causing the issue? Because also, we can't remove it!

That sounds weird -- it should work like that. How, more exactly, does it not work? Do you not at all get the option for building a gate, or does it refuse to actually place a blueprint when you select it?

As for removing stone, it shouldn't be an issue in this particular case, but you are right, indeed, that it should be possible. :)

What you get is that you CAN rightclick on the cornerpost and select "Build gate to the south" or such, but then you walk up to the site and get a warcraft-ian "You can't build this there" error message.

That's really weird. It might just be a bounding box problem, though. Could you try laying stone on the tiles surrounding the gate and see if that helps?
