Stuck cart in village

Postby firemage » Mon Oct 12, 2009 8:50 am

I was pulling my cart through Brodgar to collect some logs.
I was going through a gate, when there was a lag spike. I misclicked, so the cart got stuck.
Since I'm not a member of tCoB (yet) I couldn't retrieve my cart.

Either the last puller of a cart should always be able to pull, even on foreign claims,
OR a cart should not be detached from you, when it hits something.

That already happens. Your cart remembers the last person who pulled it, and you should be able to start pulling it again.

Does it? Don't think so.

A few days ago two people were travelling past my claim. I ran out and stopped their carts, then hauled em inside my claim. After a quick search, I released them.

The guys who were carrying it couldn't do a thing.

PS: Only reason I took the carts was because earlier on (two to three hours prior to this), I had a guy with a cart rob most of my crap. So I ran out to make sure it wasn't them. I returned their carts and they went on their way.

Somehow I couldn't. Maybe I could, if I went to the other side of the gate. From my side it was stuck and there was no way around.

Did you read what I said? It only saves the last person who pulled them... Which would have been you after you started pulling them...

That is very strange... Wait... I remember hearing about a problem with carts going through gates, but I thought it was fixed.
