Tradition/Change slider

In the Ancestral Worship announcement (viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2916), Jorb mentioned, "At full change you can now adjust the belief sliders once every 8 ingame hours..."

I am 1 away from being full change and my game is telling me I have 17 hours left. Shouldn't it say something like 12 hours left, or is this meant to take effect only if I've got full change? This seems anomalous because everything else in the personal belief system is gradient.

The new system won't take effect until the next time you change the sliders.
