Pottery Bug

A quick check didnt show this, so sorry if this has been pointed out before:

A new char I created has access to the craft->ceramics menu, even though he does not have pottery. I cant actually craft anything, but I can access the menu and see the options.

Edit -- I can build urns tho. Are urns not supposed to need pottery?

that's odd. can you dig clay?

I can. I had not thought of that before. Should I need pottery to dig clay?

you used to need pottery to dig. stealth update?

I havent played a newbie in so long, I have no idea. Maybe stealth update, maybe bug.

Definitely bug, I made new characters when I was making Novigrad and they couldn't dig and didn't have the ceramics button in crafting menu.

It is gone now. I think it may have been an inheritance issue, as my previous char had pottery. Not sure tho.

I had this problem too, and I think im pretty safe in saying that it is inheritance, as when I died and created a new character, it had all the craft-build options of my old one but I was unable to actually use them.
