Stealing without Crim on Deletes Items

I was hunting with a friend, and he got KO'd from leeches. Thinking I was a comedian, i ran up and tried to steal his merchant rings, and upon grabbing one, it disappeared. It isnt in his bags, or on the ground or in my bags. My criminal actions was turned off. Idk what happened to it, but i just grabbed one of his pair. He has the other one on. I have a pair just like them of my own, so no need to attempt to get extras. It was a q175 merchant ring i had just paid Blaze good steel for.

This has happened to me before when
i was raiding a town, it has to do with
the "Criminal actions off" part. i think
you shouldn't be able to access the steal
menu if crim acts are off.

This, and the revoked claims being unreclaimable thing, make 2 bugs ive reported to be successfully fixed.. I understand there is some sort of magic spoon helpful guys like me might be blessed with... ?
