I gained an intelligence level from eating nothing but plaice, my perception fep was greater than my intelligence level and this has happened several times

This happened to me too!
Even with pike, which gave 0.5 of CON,STR and INT, so it's supposed to give once skill every time, but it doesn't.

it's random with the odds reflecting the amount in your FEP bar. Your results will not always match the odds because that's what random means.

It's just probability, but INT seems to like being lame and leveling up even when it has a low bar. I'm at 21 int and 17 perception raising both from 10 off plaice.
