H&H running real slow and choppy

On my vista laptop haven has always seemed to run extremely choppily while on my xp desktop it works just fine.
By choppy I mean that the game graphically refreshes once every few seconds o it looks like I get only a couple frames per second.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you deal with it if possible?

uh make sure your video drivers are current (from the manufacturer of course)

I get this when using Pachos for a while, always have to relog to fix it.

Quad core 2.6 Nvidia GTX 285 8GB ram Win7.

it's all about videocard. on my netbook hh laggy as hell even on standart client.

Well I updated my drivers, didn't do anything also here is the video card I used.
NVIDIA GeForce GT 120M

I get the same after a while (few hours) (happens sooner in pacho due to IRC issue), others have reported it in the main discussion forum too.

Never happened on the old world so i assume a change in the client is causing it.

This has been happening for me too. Javaw.exe starts using tons of CPU.

This happens to me too. I updated my driver, installed stuff for the video card, nothing works. Did anyone find a solution?
