troughs keep getting max damaged since last server crash

After last server crash, all 3 of our troughs had gone from completely healthy to maximum damaged.
One of my friends repaired them fully. Some 6 hours later, when I logged in, I found the 3 troughs, all maximum damaged. I repaired them.
1 hour later, I come back to find all 3 of them back, again, to maximum damage.

I'm having the same problem, only with mine, the troughs just outright break.
they're also placed on pavement so it just puzzles me.
