My mansion has, on two occasions, refused my entry. There's nothing near the door, inside or out, and it eventually works again.
Come back two hours earlier.

i've noticed this a few times, seems to be an issue with angle the times i noticed it

I tried walking away and approaching from several angles, didn't work. Eventually and seemingly without reason, it just worked, all of a sudden.
Come back two hours earlier.
