Indestructible armor

only the stronger animals like bears andboars can damage armor

Actually, bears and boars have done no armor damage to me recently, though they have probably done the most shp damage.

That's strange. Someone in haro told me his bear cape was destroyed by a boar yesterday.

it seems that if you have enough deflect the armor won't get damaged. bear capes don't have any deflect.

armor also has soak and is resistant to much damage. the better your armor, the more it resists.
