Did he
1) put in the correct email (his email without mistakes)?
2) did he look in his junk folder?

May sound dumb, but those are the most common mistakes.

Yeah, hes double checked and on the second try, triple checked and its not in his spam folder neither. He's a computer geek but cannot figure why he cannot receive it.

E-mail provider? I know we've been having trouble with at least Hotmail.

This goes for password resets as well Jorb, even with accounts that have been activated through several different sources. Comcast as well which is one of the largests ISP's in the U.S.

Hotmail has started blocking everything from my server, indeed. Since MSN Live and Hotmail are the same, it follows that the same thing happens there. Why they feel it is reasonable to block servers arbitrarily, I don't know, but there isn't a lot I can do about it. I recommend not using Hotmail.

Gmail does seem to work, however. I just tried sending a registration e-mail to a gmail account, and it works fine. Are you really sure it didn't pop into the spam folder on just gmail (I could see not checking it, since Hotmail/Live didn't work at all)?

ok, but what about comcast? are they arbitrarily blocking servers too as well? If this is the case, how are we going to change passwords or retrieve them if lost?
