Attacked by unknown inside house 2nd floor ???

So I live in a pretty secure village and was going around working on cheeses and running back and forth. Then I headed into our cooking house and went upstairs and started to make Chantelle and onion prozhi when all of a sudden I was attacked.

Heard the crunch sound of getting hit and attack window came up and the out of range symbol and attackers portrait with a ? .

I called upon our LS who came a running within 2 min and looked around and checked all over.

Here's why I think it was a bug of somekind....

1-- in village claim no signs of a breech and no holes in walls

2- no scents could be found anywhere

3- I took no damage of anykind

4- as i said i was upstairs and saw no one anywhere before i headed up

Please could you look into this and we dont have a clue what happened and it was a pretty scary feeling to say the least.

That'd be a rather interesting bug... maybe
they shot you with a sling, with most armor
slings are pretty much just good for making
red zeroes fly into the air. Were you in a
party?

Couldn't have been a sling.

It would have gone Ping~ instead of that crushing sound like when you hit an animal.

The distance between the inner city walls and the outter city walls are at least 50tiles All brick, no gap in the wall (Doubt that mattered cause she was in the mansion). I've checked all over , not a single assault scent found anywhere.

To comfirm what sound she heard, I made her spar and shoot me with a Sling, went Ping but she said it wan't the sound she got, so I shot a fox and she said that was the sound.

Had checked her Armor, none of them lost any HP.

And no she wasn't in a PT.

Maybe a fox attacked a rabbit and because of lag the sound got delayed until she got in the house.

Edit: That doesn't explain the attack window, nvm me...

Hmm... Maybe it was both a sound lag and
someone attempting to shoot you with a sling
but missing coincidently at the same time?

I've never heard about a bug that gets you
into combat.

We checked around everywhere saw no one.
And if someone was attacking wouldnt they have left some scents.

all i know is the whole thing was kinda scary.

Which is why I am hoping it can be checked out.

Did you look often enough to find scents of people with high stealth and int?

Would be interesting to see someone with that much Stealth/Int. But that still doesnt explain how he got within shooting distance of my chief......

I'm thinking someone started aiming at you outside.
Then when you were standing still, his meter was going up so he shot and hit

Even if that was true and someone did managed to get pass our outter walls to aim, there was no HP dmg taken , not was any HP lost from armor, and we rnt talking bout that Metalic Ping sound you get from taking no dmg.
