WTF is this gold square?? I have been farming around here for the past 2 hours and this suddenly appeared.

im sure it's just a native terrain, not a bug.
btw, it looks yewllow-ish green rather than gold to me.

It's moor.

Grass decays into moor aka yellow shit and moor decays into heath aka pink shit.

I've been wondering this for a while and this seems like a good place to ask. Does replanting grass on moor tile reset the "decay" and make that tile native grass for a while? Like if I've got moor coming out of my crop area (like the image in the OP) and I plow it and then plant grass and then plow it again and plant crops, will it take a while for it to turn into a moor tile again?

I know it sounds stupid but I really don't like the look of the moor tiles so I'm just trying to come up with a good way to get rid of them.

Hmm, well thanks for the response. Now that I look at it, it does kind of look like a moor tile. I was just dumbfounded on how it just popped in there of all places and in one square.
