Kicked out after server down

Postby Frycito » Wed Mar 16, 2011 12:49 am

Hey guys.

I'm nit sure if this has to do with some setting here, or is a general issue.
Problem is:
Since the server is back up, I get kicked out of the game everytime i travel to my HF or enter a building.
Leaving buildings doesn't seem to be a problem though.

That happens to some people. From what I've been able to tell, the vast majority of them have had buggy routers at home. I still don't know exactly what the bug is, however.

Strange thing is, i changed the router.

I used our neighbours to test it, but it happens with ours and theirs and never has happened before.

Edit: Ah no wait. I changed the router AFTER i got kicked out a 3rd time.
Now its working again ^^

Might I ask for the manufacturer/model of the faulty router? I thought I might try to keep some statistics. :)

The one not working is our neighbours.

It's one of those distributed by T-Online in Germany. I'll check for the model tomorrow and let you know.

I solved the problem btw. Opening the proper ports plus deactivating the w-lan "transfer module" (no idea if that is the proper english translation) 802.11n did it for me.
