Can't cross invisible line

I can't cross the line...

Using http://algeralith.info/HavenMap as reference:

I'm in a quadrant whose x coordinate is 58 and can't go to the quadrant whose x coordinate is 57... :(

There are corrupted sectors. You cannot enter these areas. What exactly caused these I don't know but there's no work arounds for them at the moment. Just avoid them as best you can as they tend to be lagg high areas.

That sucks =(. I'm guessing you haven't played in a while if ur just seeing this now. But theres a thread in the announcement section called "Hardware issues" or something along those lines that explains a bit what happened. Best of luck to you in finding a new home for ur hearthling!

Thanks!

What causes "nuked" or no-go areas?

Experiments by the devs. I think this is the first time that anything like this has happened before so it's fairly unique and strange to us all.

I thought Loftar said it was a hard drive failure that caused this. Whatever the exact cause was, it's in the thread linked in the first post or the first few pages thereafter.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Some of the map data got corrupted because of a failure. Nothing to do with any experiment although "after" the data was corrupted, Loftar changed something in the server so map data wouldn't be lost if the same thing happened again, this is what is causing the currant lag.
