Seems tons of people having this issue.

error: "Connection refused: Connect"

anyone got any solutions or an alternate client? Im not sure that ender still plays. Most people seem to be able to get on with the default client.

I got the same problem its weird. I am logged in with 1 account on enders but i cant log in my other account.

same problem since about 20:30 uk time

was in game, had to log for 2 mins, tried to log back in - connection refused
have tried the 'solutions' regarding changing the run.bat in ender's client, but they have no effect, default client also gives same error

i would suggest its a temporary problem with server communications, or similar (at least i hope so): java seems ok, as does my modem

it seems as if it is something on the part of the Ender's server side, nothing to do with client side. Looks like we'll just have to be patient... Not to sound like a broken record or anything...

Same for me, I tried to relog and it had the "Connection refused: Connect" error.
