Axe mutation?

Ok..so I'm butchering 2 pigs...I finish up one and then go to start the next...
The red error pops up that I need a sharp object to cut em up...
I'm thinking, that is odd... I just used my axe to cut up a pig...
I check inventory...and I am oddly holding a q10 torch where my axe used to be...

Anybody had any mutant items before?

maybe you had axe in 1 hand torch in the other, and your axe broke...

Yup...axe just gone...torch it's place...at first I thought maybe it got either dropped or put in cupboard on accident..but it's just gone...

I had this happen too, but then with a ferryman. It just dissapeared, no torch in its place though :|

No, i didnt it was in my inv the whole time, then poof gone.
