Game not downloading

The game downloader doesn't seem to be working for me. I click play the box comes up saying downloading application and then it gets 3 quarters of the way and then stops forever.

could be an issue with your firewall blocking the rest of it, try disableing it or making an exception for the duration of the download.

make an exception rule for HnH ports UDP 1870 and TCP 1871 in your firewall so you can keep it enabled

I disabled my firwall and it STILL didn't work! I have Java too and it just keeps stopping midway.

you could possibly have the wrong bit java installed, have you checked to make sure you do?

I had this issue.

I uninstalled my Java, the installed Java SE 6 u32 and it worked, try clearing Java cache too.

Doing one of those two things fixed it for me. Unsure which.

I'm on latest java, turned off firewall, no dice. I'd love to play though.

don't disable firewall - open ports UDP 1870 and TCP 1871 in your firewall...also do at Routers firewall (if any)

you might also make an exeption in AV program for java.exe and javaw.exe

Your Notebook is very special! with a personality of its own but great you found a workaround!

I can't recommend to use older versions of Java 6 or 7 for everyone as there are exploits that have been fixed in actual updates!
And i don't think that having the Java updated version installed is the reason for HnH not running - mostly it's some programs or settings...
